Uh oh! Amber Heard’s camp is calling foul on LAPD claims that she didn’t have any visible injuries when they responded to a 911 call following Johnny Depp’s alleged assault. Keep reading for the shocking new report.
This is getting intense! Sources close to Amber Heard, 30, claim that the LAPD officers who responded to her condo after Johnny Depp, 52, allegedly threw a phone at her face are lying about not seeing any injuries to help the actor cover up the incident! Read on for why her camp is convinced there’s something rotten is going on.
In a shocking report, TMZ claims that sources close to the actress cite that Johnny has a close relationship with the LAPD, with some officers even working off-duty as part of his security detail. They allege that this is the reason why officers who responded to the 911 call on May 21 claim that they didn’t see any visible injuries to Amber when they arrived at her condo, despite the fact that her camp is adamant that her face had red marks from allegedly having the phone hurled at her by the actor. The site also notes that Amber had a witness there when police arrived, her neighbor Raquel Rose Pennington who had come to help protect her during Johnny’s alleged assault. They report that Amber claims Raquel examined her face which she says had “a significant injury with redness and swelling,” even though the LAPD officers claimed to not see any evidence of abuse.
The site says that their sources are drawing attention to the fact that the “LAPD has changed its story multiple times…first telling the media they never responded to a 911 call involving Amber and Johnny, then saying there was only one call, and later admitting they received two calls and sent two different sets of officers to her apartment.”
But the LAPD insists that, “The officers told her they needed to make sure she wasn’t declining help under duress, so they insisted on coming in and speaking with her. Amber obliged, and the officers say they looked at her closely enough to determine there were no marks, swelling or bruising on her face or other exposed parts of her body.” Finally, the police say that they definitely would have taken a report from Amber and tracked down Johnny, had they seen any signs of injury.
