Whoa. After pleading guilty to five gun charges, ‘High School Musical’ star Justin Martin will be locked up for 18 months, a new report claims. On top of that, he’ll get one year probation. Find out all the details here.
High School Musical star Justin Martin just got sentenced to something a lot worse than detention — he’ll reportedly serve 18 months behind bars after pleading guilty to five gun charges on Tuesday, May 31.
Justin, who co-starred with Zac Efron in the third installment of the High School Musical franchise, appeared in court Tuesday for sentencing, according to TMZ. In addition to the jail time he’ll serve, Justin will also get one year probation, during which he’ll have to remain sober and away from the scene of the crime.
In July 2015, Justin ran away from cops in Boston and pointed a gun at officers before he was captured. Because of this, he pled guilty to five gun charges –assault with a dangerous weapon, illegal possession of a gun and ammunition, carrying a loaded gun and firing a gun near a building.
