Ray Stantz has spoken! Despite the internet’s unwavering disdain for the all-female ‘Ghostbusters’ reboot headed to theaters, Dan Aykroyd shared his own review of the ‘brilliant’ film after a screening — and he’s SOLD.
Dan Aykroyd, 28, is not here for the internet’s sass when it comes to the exciting new reboot of Ghostbusters. As one of the stars of the original films, Dan has spoken out publicly in defense of the film which he claims has “more” laughs than the first two films combined. Whoa!

Watch out, haters! Dr. Ray Stantz is totally coming for you. In a new Facebook post, Dan Aykroyd surprised Ghostbusters fans new and old by revealing how he feels about the upcoming reboot. While the trailer for the film is the most disliked in YouTube history, Dan is here to tell us that there is just NO reason for it.
“As originator of the original: Saw test screening of new movie. Apart from brilliant, genuine performances from the cast both female and male, it has more laughs and more scares than the first 2 films,” Dan wrote excitedly, hoping to get his fans and followers on his level about the new film.
“Plus Bill Murray is in it! As one of millions of man-fans and Ray Stantz, I’m paying to see that and bringing all my friends!” Dan finished up his post, throwing major shade at the film’s haters. Tell ’em, Dan!
