On May 31, 2006, every girl’s life was changed by the premiere of ‘The Hills,’ the show that became an epidemic until its end in 2010, after six seasons. With the amount of insane one-liners, we’re here to test your OC knowledge.
Alright, you remember Lauren Conrad yelling at Heidi Montag, “You know what you did,” but do you know what Spencer Pratt said to Heidi after one of their many famous break ups? Well, you can take our quiz here to match the quotes with the character. It turns out most of these lines were not unwritten.

Now the cast did in fact, reflect on some of those famous lines — like Hiedi and Lauren’s fight in the club that night.
“To me, those were the best scenes—the really real ones,” LC told Us Magazine. “We’re not, you know, sitting in a cute café discussing who said what the night before. They were always the hardest to shoot, but I felt like that was when people could really relate to us.”
Even though the show became more scripted, the money hadn’t really came pouring in yet for everyone after season one. Audrina Patridge, actually demanded more. “I was working full-time, but I had to take time off, and I wasn’t getting paid. I was doing it all just for fun,” she said. “It got to the point where I was like, I’m borrowing money from my parents to pay my rent. I had to talk to the producers and tell them, ‘I’m either going to have to stop or you guys have to help me out.'”
It was after season three that almost everything was scripted, especially Spencer’s lines, Heidi told the magazine. Then when Kristin Cavallari was approached time after time, it all came down to money — which is why she finally joined for the final two seasons.
“The money was the reason I did it,” she said. “Producers gave me an offer I couldn’t refuse. I’m glad I went back to [reality TV] because this time I looked at it strictly as a job, and I knew the character they wanted me to play.”
Well, we’re happy she did! So, how did you do on our quiz? Let us know in the comments!
