“Trust me. I think probably the planet is going to explode,” the star dished to Entertainment Weekly about when hit AMC show return this Oct. “That’s my feeling. It’s so good.” Oh man, how can we NOT believe him? That cliffhanger ending from season six saw all of our favorites captured and down on their knees, while new über bad guy Negan was deciding which one of them to beat to death with his barbed wire covered baseball bat Lucille. That final scene with the blows of the bat coming down on one unlucky cast member’s head still gives us the chills!
As for which fan favorite gets killed off, Norman has been asked that question, “Probably about a zillion times, like, all the time,” but he thinks it’s going to be far more worth it to fans to wait until the show comes back on to watch and see for themselves.
“I don’t like spoilers, to be honest, I don’t want people to tell me the ending to the movie when we sit down in a movie theater. I don’t like them, so I don’t do them. I like the enthusiasm behind everyone wanting to know, but it’s a good feeling to have that enthusiasm, so let’s hold onto it,” he says of keeping the identity of Negan’s victim a secret.
Fans are still so upset over season six’s finale months after it aired, and that’s something that caught him off caught. “The fact that people are still talking is a huge compliment to how that episode was executed and the acting in it and the writing of it. That’s a good thing. Talk sometimes its good. I know we all have phones and everything is instant gratification now. I get it. I like that too. I like the controversy, to be honest. For that many people to be that invested in that show and freaking out, I think it’s great.” We do too Norman, but darn do we want October to hurry up and get here so we can finally find out which of our favorite characters is now gone!
HollywoodLifers, who do you think is Negan’s victim?
