We can’t believe how quickly Gucci Mane got back to business! He was in prison for almost three years, but he must have kept himself busy by writing new music, because not even 24 hours after he was released, he dropped an awesome new song! Stream Gucci Mane’s music ad-free and unlimited, RIGHT HERE!
The track, produced by Mike Will Made It, recounts Gucci life in “tha fed.” He shared the lyrics ahead of the song’s release, and they were pretty dark. “There’s a lot of people scared of me / and I can’t blame them / They call me crazy so much / I think I’m starting to believe them / cuz I did some thing to folks / that was downright evil.”
While the song’s beat is pretty barebones, it really captures a sense of solitude. Gucci’s delivery proves that the time in the fed hasn’t dulled his skills. We can’t wait until the rest of the mixtape hits streets. Big Guwop tweeted that “#FirstDayOutThaFeds” was dropping at 10:17 P.M., in honor of 1017 records. So, the countdown in on!
Writing music isn’t the only thing Gucci did while he was still behind bars. He was a notoriously big guy when he entered the big house, but he came out looking absolutely shredded! Gucci debuted a brand new six-pack on his girlfriend’s Snapchat when he was released on May 26.
Gucci was very lucky to be released from jail four months early. He was supposed to serve three full years when he was ruled guilty in 2013 for firearm possession by a convicted felon, disorderly conduct, carrying a concealed weapon, and marijuana possession. Hopefully he can stay out of trouble and focus on making more awesome music like this from now on!
