A shocking photo has surfaced of Amber Heard, 30, with terrible bruises on her face after she filed a restraining order against estranged husband Johnny Depp, 52. Amber showed up in court on May 27 with a bruise on her face and accused Johnny of hitting her throughout their 15-month marriage.
The shocking photo features Amber with bruises around her right eye. She claims that Johnny hit her in the face with her iPhone on Saturday, May 21, according to TMZ’s report. Amber says the photo was taken shortly after she was allegedly struck by Johnny.
Amber arrived in court on May 27 with her lawyer, Samantha Spector, with photos of herself with bruises. She claims Johnny beat her multiple times during their marriage, and he offered her money to keep quiet. HollywoodLife.com has reached out to Amber and Johnny’s reps for comment.
The Magic Mike XXL star filed for divorce on May 23, just three days after Johnny’s mother died. She asked for a temporary restraining order against Johnny, claiming there’s an immediate threat of harm. Johnny has been out of town since May 25 promoting Alice Through The Looking Glass. Amber was photographed shopping on May 25, but her right eye couldn’t be seen because she was wearing sunglass.
Amber and Johnny didn’t sign a pre-nuptial agreement. Johnny is reportedly worth over $400 million. Amber asked for spousal support when she filed for divorce.
Johnny released the following statement on May 26 about the divorce and threw serious shade at his ex: “Given the brevity of this marriage and the most recent and tragic loss of his mother, Johnny will not respond to any of the salacious false stories, gossip, misinformation and lies about his personal life,” the statement read. “Hopefully the dissolution of this short marriage will be resolved quickly.”
