OMG! The cast of ‘The Walking Dead’ teamed up for a hilarious ‘Star Wars’ spoof, and we are totally obsessed with it — especially the Jeff Goldblum cameo. Click inside to WATCH!
On Thursday, May 26, some of the biggest stars showed up to Red Nose Day to help make some money for sick children everywhere. Among them were The Walking Dead cast, including stars Andrew Lincoln, Norman Reedus, Melissa McBride, and so many more! Just wait until you see what they were up to.
No, your eyes are not deceiving you! Rick, Daryl, Glenn, Carol, and more of your faves from The Walking Dead just killed a comedy sketch for Red Nose Day the same way they would slay a walker — or a bunch of Negan’s sleeping goons.
Here’s what went down: the skit opened with Andrew and Daryl hanging out during some downtime on the TWD set. When their “assistant” (aka Josh McDermitt, who plays Eugene on the show) delivers their smoothies, Norman points out that Andrew has some fake blood left on his face. This makes Andrew and his sexy British accent suddenly yearn to do something a little “lighter,” which leads to the Star Wars montage.
The montage rolls like the opening credits to a comedy, and they include some very familiar faces. From Andrew and Norman to Melissa’s drum solo, Steven Yeun‘s puppeteering, Merle’s hand, and even super fan Yvette Nicole Brown!
Of course, it wouldn’t be anything Walking Dead related if our trusty after-show host, Chris Hardwick, wasn’t also involved. Dressed as Han Solo, the Talking Dead host was joined by another celeb cameo, Dax Shepard. Love it!
Now, here lies the very important question: did any of these cast members die to Negan’s bat on the season 6 finale of The Walking Dead? Anything is possible, but my money is still on Abraham — especially after he missed the Red Nose Day special. Eek!
