Johnny Depp is a colorful character. The youngest of four children, he originally pursued music and moved to LA to land a record deal as a teen. But when he was only 20-years-old he married Lori Anne Allison, the first of many high profile relationships with stars like Winona Ryder, Jennifer Grey and even Kate Moss.
Johnny landed his first role in the 1984 horror movie, A Nightmare on Elm Street. But it was his 1990 hits Cry-Baby and Edward Scissorhands that garnered critical acclaim for the actor and thus began his longtime friendship with Tim Burton. Johnny went on to star in movies like, What’s Eating Gilbert Grape to being nominated for a Golden Globe for his role in Burton’s comedy, Ed Wood.
