While most parents are NOT fans of changing dirty diapers, Chrissy Teigen and John Legend hilariously can’t get enough — even going so far as to call it ‘fun!’ As brand new parents to baby Luna, these two seriously could not make a better team!
Chrissy Teigen, 30, and John Legend, 37, are SO obsessed with their one-month-old daughter, Luna, that they apparently aren’t even bothered by her smelly, dirty diapers. Now THAT’S love! And while Chrissy definitely doesn’t mind cleaning up after their newborn, it’s John who is ALL OVER the stinky task, truly embracing fatherhood — the good, the bad, AND the nasty!

“We never changed diapers before, so it’s kind of new and fun for us,” Chrissy revealed to People magazine. And apparently John in PARTICULAR is a major fan of diaper duty. In fact, Chrissy couldn’t help gushing that her hubby “loves the diaper change,” adding that the first-time daddy “does so much” with little Luna. Aw!
But while it’s obvious that both Chrissy and John totally love being parents — maybe a little TOO much? — parenthood did take some getting used to in the very beginning. “The first time [Luna] cried, I was like, ‘Oh, what do we do? Everyone can hear us!’ And now…I live right through it,” Chrissy dished. See? What pros!

But quieting Luna down is apparently a lot easier said than done, as John’s lullaby skills could surprisingly be improved upon. “He doesn’t really know how to sing to babies,” the model joked. Instead, though, the Grammy winner charms his daughter by dancing with her. “He’s a good calming source” Chrissy said. We bet his is — I mean, have you listened to “All Of You?”
There’s no doubt that Luna is the center of Chrissy and John’s lives, but even the most dedicated parents aren’t safe from mommy and daddy shaming. In fact, when the new parents stepped out to enjoy a fancy date night together, some people lashed out — at Chrissy in particular — calling her a bad mom for leaving Luna with a sitter so soon after her birth.
“I think some people actually get weirded out if you bounce back too quickly, because you really should be at home taking care of her and not so concerned with your looks,” the model explained. “You’ll never have the right answer, you’ll never be right to everybody. So you just kind of live and do what you can do best.” Way to put your haters in their place, Chrissy!
