This does not bode well for the reality star. Karen was seen arriving to her promotional appearance at Level V when cops approached her and cuffed her. In TMZ‘s video, she’s seen entering and then moments later being escorted out by five police officers. A police report obtained by HollywoodLife.com, alleges that in 2015, Karen and a Saks store associate bought $4,946.52 worth of merchandise, including Chanel handbags, under someone else’s name and then split the items. It’s unclear when a trial date will be set but Karen is still sitting in jail.
This is not Karen’s first run in with the law. In 2012 she was arrested for the beating of her boyfriend, Lydon Baines Smith, who is also the father of her son, Sas. She was arrested on charges of aggravated assault with intent to murder, aggravated battery with disfigurement and kidnapping with bodily injury. She allegedly ordered five men, including her sons, to beat Lyndon and dump his body across Georgia state lines. But once in Alabama they were pulled over by police, “Once in Alabama, the vehicle was stopped by Alabama authorities and the victim was discovered in the trunk,” Lt. Jamie Gianfala with the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office said at the time.
