Drake is one happy fanboy! The rapper has been dedicated to supporting the Toronto Raptors in their NBA playoffs run, and after their back-to-back wins against the Cleveland Cavaliers, he felt confident enough to do a little trash talking — and Kyrie Irving was his first victim!
Kyrie Irving, 24, hasn’t played his best in the Cavaliers’ last two playoff games against the Toronto Raptors…and Drake, 29, is ALL about it! The 29-year-old took to Instagram to tease the Cavs star for putting up poor numbers lately, and continued to cheer on his fave team as they make a run for the title.

“2 gave us 2…we’ll take it,” Drake wrote on Instagram, referring to Kyrie’s number 2, and insinuating that his bad games were the reasons the Raptors were able to win against the highly-talented team. With the message, the rapper shared a photo of himself courtside and Kyrie looking totally defeated in the same frame. LOL.
After the Raptors’ 105-99 win on May 23, the series is tied 2-2. During the first two games of the series, Kyrie played great, averaging 26.5 PPG and on 59% shooting. But when the teams played in Toronto, he only averaged 19.5 points per game, and shot just 35 percent from the field. Yikes!
Drake shared a series of photos of himself from the game, as he got super into the action, cheering the Raptors on while basically standing on the court himself. It definitely doesn’t hurt to have one of the biggest names in music on your side, huh!? Stream Drake’s hits completely unlimited and ad-free HERE.
Kyrie wasn’t Drizzy’s first victim when it came to the teasing, either — after Game 1, he totally trolled LeBron James by posting a photo of him crying and captioned it, “Flying home for game 4.” LOL…Drake literally has no shame! Let’s hope, for his sake, that the Raptors keep it up!
What do you think of Drake mocking Kyrie, HollywoodLifers? Was it too harsh — or totally hilarious?
