It wasn’t all about coaching for Blake Shelton on the season finale of ‘The Voice!’ The veteran judge also took the stage for a performance during the show, and he showcased one of his brand new songs, ‘She’s Got A Way With Words.’ Obviously, it was totally awesome!
Blake Shelton, 39, gave the contestants a break on the May 24 episode of The Voice…by performing himself! As he nervously awaited the final results of the season, the country star belted out his new hit, “She’s Got A Way With Words,” and we totally loved it.

Blake’s new album If I’m Honest is full of personal songs, and this one is no different (lookin’ at you Gwen Stefani). Blake just couldn’t wipe the smile off his face as he entertained the crowd and everyone was SO into it — including the rest of the coaches watching!
Like his fellow coaches, Christina Aguilera, Adam Levine and Pharrell, Blake has one artist left in the competition: Adam Wakefield, who gave three stellar performances on Monday night and found himself on top of the iTunes charts. Based on America’s votes, either he, Alisan Porter, Laith Al-Saadi or Hannah Huston will be named the winner at the end of the finale.
Of course, Blake is no stranger to having a finalist in this competition! He’s won the show as a coach four times, in Seasons 2, 3, 4 and 7, and had an artist place in second in every season where he wasn’t the winner. Talk about a good track record, right?! The 39-year-old has actually already performed on the show this season — just last week, he took the stage with his girlfriend, Gwen Stefani, for a rendition of their sexy duet, “Go Ahead & Break My Heart.” The lovebirds just couldn’t keep their eyes off each other throughout the romantic performance!
What did you think of Blake’s performance, HollywoodLifers?!
