The finale of ‘DWTS’ always brings the fire — and this year was no different. Aloe Blacc took the stage on May 24 and totally killed it with a performance of ‘Let the Games Begin.’
Talk about bringing down the house! Aloe Blacc won us over with “Wake Me Up,” and his song “Let the Games Begin” is just as (if not more) amazing. Of course, it’s from the Race soundtrack, but we have to say — the message was fitting for the finale of Dancing with the Stars!

Aloe Blacc hit the stage right before the winner was announced, standing in front of all three final teams: Paige VanZant and Mark Ballas, Ginger Zee and Val Chmerkovskiy, and Nyle DiMarco and Peta Murgatroyd. Behind them, there was a montage of all three of their best moments.
The song was absolutely touching — here are the lyrics to the first verse:
This is the moment of a lifetime
Made it through the dark / now it’s time to let your light shine
When the story could end / the glory and it’s yours to choose
When the stakes are high / and you know you’ve got so much to lose
Of course, it’s a very powerful message coming through, that’s totally fitting. The song is actually part of the Race soundtrack, the Jesse Owens biopic that centers around a track icon’s journey to the 1936 Olympics during Adolf Hitler’s reign. Download Aloe Blacc’s music on iTunes here.
