Although the video shows the “See You Again” rapper enjoying the finer things in life, like luxurious penthouse suites and sunny beaches, he wants to let fans know that he wouldn’t have anything if weren’t for them. “I got so much love for you,” he raps. In the Dan Folger and Chris Cordova-directed video, Wiz is seen hanging out in mansions and riding around in the desert on an ATV, while spitting out love for his fans. “I got so many people trying to rep my game, and I love them all the same,” he raps on the chorus.
Wiz definitely has a lot to be thankful for. His collaboration on the Paul Walker tribute song with Charlie Puth, 24, “See You Again,” racked up a number of awards, including a Billboard Music Award on May 22, and a Critics Choice Award earlier in the year. His album, Khalifa also did well on the Billboard charts after its release in February 2016.
But music isn’t the only time Wiz could depend on his massive following. The rapper saw just how much his fans had his back, when many of them came to his defense during the infamous Kanye West, 38, Twitter feud. Fans immediately targeted Kanye after he insulted Wiz’s son and ex, Amber Rose, 32. Way to have his back Taylor Gang!
The “Black and Yellow” artist probably doesn’t have enough words to express his gratitude for the love and support he’s gotten from his fans, but the “So Much” video is definitely a good start. And seeing how the rapper has a new music project in the works called, Rude Awakening, that may be all the thanks that his fans need.
