Britney Spears is all the fitspo you need! The princess of pop (and mom of two!) showed off her insanely toned body during a performance of her greatest hits at the 2016 Billboard Music Awards. Find out the workout behind her flat abs, ahead.
Britney Spears, 34, silenced any doubts as to whether her recent bikini pics on Instagram were photoshopped or not when she performed in a barely-there sequin bikini at the Billboard Music Awards that showed off her killer abs. Performing some of her old hits like “Toxic” and “Slave 4 U,” Britney had to put in some serious work for her toned tummy.

“She loves all core workouts,” personal trainer Tony Martinez told the Daily Mail. “She’s a very tenacious woman. She wants to get it done and get it done right,” he went on to say. On his Instagram, Tony shows off one of the ab workouts he developed, using a foam roller. Resting your elbows on a foam roller, Tony says to hold your body in a plank position for 30 to 60-seconds, then, holding the plank position, bring your knee to your elbow and alternate each side 10 times. For a full ab workout, Tony says to repeat the routine three times without resting in between.
To really make her abs pop, Brit relied on intense cardio classes by Drenched Fitness to torch calories fast. The one-hour classes can burn up to 650 calories thanks to its rest and recover method that alternates rounds on the treadmill and lifting weights to increase your heart rate, recover and repeat.
Brit also likes to switch things up by adding yoga into her routine, as evidenced by her Instagram posts. Not only does the workout help improve flexibility and balance, it’s also great for creating long and lean muscles.
Of course, she’s not all business all the time. Though she reportedly sticks to healthy meals like egg whites, wheat toast and fruit, that will fuel her intense workouts and Vegas performances, Britney still indulges. Following her highly anticipated BBMAs performance, Britney shared a picture from her big night that showed off her killer abs, with the caption: “After tonight… All I really want is a cheeseburger 🍔 #BBMAs.”
