Despite Beyonce and Jay Z’s ‘Lemonade’ drama, these two are still so ‘Crazy In Love’ that they’ve reportedly recorded an album together! This surprise album will answer all those lingering ‘Lemonade’ questions and it’s dropping soon!
Forget breaking up. Beyonce, 34, and Jay Z, 46, are about to rule the rap game as Queen and King. Though Bey dropped some Lemonade-flavored allegations that her man possibly cheated on her, the hip-hop “Bonnie & Clyde” are about to ride again as these two have recorded a surprise album together!
Jay and Bey’s secret album is “complete” sources tell Page Six,” and it will drop on Tidal “very soon.” This reported collaboration is the couple’s response to all the drama surrounding Bey’s smash hit, Lemonade. “Jay and Beyonce were never going to do an interview to address all the questions,” the source tells Page Six. “It’s more their style to respond through music.”
It’s not known how long Bey and Jay have been working on this album, per Page Six, since she’s currently in the middle of her Formation Tour. Jay has been keeping busy, making an appearance at Puff Daddy’s Bad Boy Family Reunion concert at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on May 20. Jay was reportedly working on his own Lemonade response so that he could tell his side of the story over the speculation that he two-timed Bey with “Becky with the good hair.” Jay’s album (Jaymonade? Lemonjayde?) would “uplift the fellas and to highlight that there are plenty of good men in the world,” a source close to Hova EXCLUSIVELY tells HollywoodLife.com. The record wouldn’t bash Bey but be about “praising and honoring the good men and fathers out there.“
Did this reported solo album transform into a collaboration between husband and wife? It’s possible that Beyonce figured having final say on the album wasn’t enough. As Jay was spitting his trademark flow on this Lemonade response, Bey was watching her hubby so she wouldn’t “be blindsided by anything” he said, an insider EXCLUSIVELY told HollywoodLife.com. Well, it’s hard to be blindsided when you’re on the album. Hopefully, this reported record is released soon!
