It was a ‘Breaking Bad’ reunion just in time to celebrate Bryan Cranston turning the big 6-0, and Jimmy Kimmel helped gather up his pals from the show to help him have the most ‘turnt’ party ever!
Bryan Cranston is celebrating turning 60 MTV My Super Sweet 16 style, an all of his old Breaking Bad pals turned out to help throw the mother of all bashes. Jesse Pinkman himself Aaron Paul, 36. and Better Call Saul‘s Bob Oedenkirk, 53, made surprise cameos in a hilarious sketch for Jimmy Kimmel Live! where they mocked the classic teen reality show.
“I’m turning 60 in a few weeks and my Super Sweet 60th has to be turnt!” he tells the camera while sitting in front of his sex Emmys and the music, graphics and everything else completely harken back to My Super Sweet 16. “I’m sexy, I’m cute and I love the spotlight,” he tells the camera in a confessional.
“Despite my success, I still live at home with my mother and father in Canoga Park, California. What can I say, I’m their little superstar.” he explains as he shown in a child’s suburban bedroom filled with Breaking Bad memorabilia (remember the pink teddy bear from season two? It’s right there on the shelf!).
He enlists party planner extraordinaire “Jimby Kimble” a.k.a Jimmy Kimmel, 48, and after he brings up some lame party theme ideas, a petulant Bryan tells him, “You are the limp d*ck of ideas.” and that “I need to make sure Jimby see my version crystal clear,” as he says it needs to be ferocious. “The Bryan King, like the Lion Ling,..Bryan the King of the jungle…roar. Roar your way into 60,” Jimby muses and they agree that’s the way to go.
Breaking Bad co-star Bob, known as his bestie “B.O.” comes over to help him pick out the perfect party outfit, ordering Jimby’s pal Guillermo to, “Yo, make my boy Bryan look tight. ” After picking out a skin-tight silver number, he gets to try on his crowns and like a bratty teen tells everyone, “I feel like I’m so much better than any of you!” Hah!
When it comes to his party, he has a total flip out when Aaron shows up wearing an identical lion suit telling him, “Bitch is not going to poach my look at my party, go home and change! Right now!” adding “I carried your ass for six years, you’re not going to steal my thunder!” After he has his elderly dad kick him out, Aaron yells out, “You know how I said I loved Trumbo? I didn’t even see it! Hey, Happy Birthday bitch!” signing off with his Breaking Bad catchphrase.
But the night ends happily as Bryan gets his wish a for white Lamborghini and having Sisqo come and perform “The Thong Song.”
HollywoodLifers, what did you think of Bryan’s epic takeoff on My Super Sweet 16.
