Emilia and the rest of the cast, hopped on set to film a fiery scene a few weeks ago for the fiery episode of the HBO show, in which the actress, who plays Daenerys, is burned down to her birthday suit. Things were definitely heating up on the show, but when the actors jumped out of character for a quick break, the Emilia attempted to lighten the mood.
When Joseph, who plays Khal Moro, dosed off in an office chair, Emilia couldn’t help but play a practical joke on him. In the video, the actress is seen dribbling some type of sauce or food on her co-star’s hands and body. She and others can’t hold in their laughter as she continues to spread the food on a sleeping Joseph. When she tries to rest a plastic spoon by his mouth, the actor immediately comes to. SO funny!
“I had my dessert sitting on the table, and she decided to smear it on me,” Joseph late told Vulture about the prank. “She put caramel fudge all over my fingers, all over my costume, and she was about to feed it to me, but I woke up with a spoon in my mouth.” Caramel fudge? That sounds sticky.
But apparently, this isn’t the first time Joseph’s fallen victim to Emilia’s hilarious jokes. She also scribbled Dothraki, a language from the show, on his arms and forehead, when he fell asleep earlier in the day. “A lot of it was, ‘Qoy Qoyi,’ which means ‘blood of my blood,'” he told the publication.

Although Joseph may not be too fond of his co-star behind the scenes, the show has hinted at a romantic connection between their characters on camera. So since they’re going to spending a lot more time together in between takes, he might want to be mindful where he shuts is eyes.
