In the summer of 2016, Universal Studios is unveiling the first-ever permanent The Walking Dead walk-through attraction and we’re so excited we could bite someone! Find out everything you need to know in this exciting preview, which reveals that the one and only Greg Nicotero is lending his genius to the attraction to make it as authentic and terrifying as possible.

If you’re a fan of The Walking Dead, then this news is 100% for you. You will finally get a chance to enter the wild world of TWD, exposed to walkers and so many more dangers, all thanks to Universal Studios in Universal City, California. The park is opening the walk-through attraction on July 4, and they have enlisted the help of set and costume designer Greg Nicotero which is a HUGE deal.
As you can see in the video, the attraction will feature walkers that have appeared on the show. The creators are using the real molds that were used to make some of the most iconic walkers on the show, including “Bicycle Girl,” who many of you will remember from the very first episode of the series.
As for what fans will be walking through, well, in the first preview for the attraction we saw sketches of the hospital that Rick wakes up in, as well as a scenario with “Wolves Not Far” sketched on the walls. According to Collider, the attraction will include the burning cabin from “Still” — and fans will be able to smell and feel the heat as they move through. crazy!
We can’t wait to see what Universal Studios puts together for The Walking Dead attraction. Hopefully the cast will go to the opening and we will get some hilarious videos of them being scared out of their minds inside!
