Leave it to Ellen DeGeneres to ask Drake the burning question we all want the answer to: Are he and Rihanna friends, or something more? The rapper finally addressed his relationship with RiRi during a new interview…sort of. Watch here!
They’re constantly twerking all over each other, so are Drake, 29, and Rihanna, 28, dating or what? Ellen DeGeneres totally embarrassed the 29-year-old while bringing up the topic during his interview on her show — but you’ll have to watch to see just how he responds!

“You and Rihanna are friends and I know that,” Ellen prompted, with a smile. “Just friends? Only friends.” But as she was teasing the rapper, she made sure a photo of the two grinding on stage flashed on the screen behind her.
“That’s friendship at its finest right there!” Drake responded with a sheepish grin. “Me and my friends always do that,” Ellen agreed. “I was with a friend of mine last week and we were like, ‘Let’s do this!'” The whole situation clearly embarrassed Drizzy, as he covered his face with his hands to avoid continuing the conversation.
Okay, so Drake and Rih are still keeping up the storyline that their relationship is platonic, but considering his reaction, it’s pretty clear that there’s a little bit more going on here…even if they’re not officially dating.
Even though the “Work” singer said she was single because of her “crazy schedule” back in March, People reported in early May that the two are secretly together — and have been for a year. “They have been keeping it a secret because, this time around, they want to do it right and keep their relationship private,” the mag claimed.
“We do well together as a team,” Drake gushed in April. “I think we do great music together. It’s tough to do guy-girl collabs…I think [the chemistry] is what makes the records better, though. It’s something genuine there. We’re not forcing some story on people. A lot of the music that we make and the energy that we bring is genuine. We have a lot of genuine energy between us.” We can tell!
Do you think Drake and Rihanna are more than friends, HollywoodLifers?
