During ‘WWHL,’ Megyn Kelly was asked by a caller which of her fellow Fox News colleagues reached out to her during her very public battle with Donald Trump and it turns out not many did. Most shockingly, outspoken feminist, Greta Van Susteren didn’t offer any support which is very disappointing to hear!
Megyn Kelly was out on an island all by her lonesome during her nasty feud with Donald Trump. The Fox News anchor opened up during her May 16 interview on Watch What Happens Live when a caller asked her to talk about who at Fox News was the most supportive. As it turns out, only Sean Hannity was a shoulder to lean on.
“I had quite a few people contact me privately,” Megyn told Andy Cohen. “And reach out to me and that’s what’s been one of the nice things about the year is how supported I’ve felt, supported by my Fox colleagues. I mentioned Janice Dean, Dana Perino is another good friend of mine …” Andy chimed in, “Did [Bill] O’Reilly ever say anything to you about it?” Megyn clearly tried to avoid the question and said: “No, we don’t really keep the same hours. Though I never really see Bill. I’ve seen him on TV like most of the American population but no.” That’s when Andy prodded a little bit further, “I mean Greta [Van Susteren] is a major feminist she had to be really fired up about this?” “Same thing with Greta, she’s in the DC Bureau and I’m in New York so I don’t ever see her. Not directly no. She’s busy, Greta does a lot of things and I do a lot of things … it’s fine.”
Meanwhile, Megyn’s interview with Andy comes just one day ahead of her highly anticipated sit down with Donald. Megyn has been promoting the FOX broadcast interview nonstop in hopes to boost ratings. She promises that it will be nothing short of dramatic as they come head-to-head for their first public interview since their very public feud.
HollywoodLifers, are you surprised that Greta and Bill did not reach out to Megyn?
