Even if Alisan Porter doesn’t go all the way and win ‘The Voice’ season 10, she knows she’s got a bright future in the recording industry. The singer tells HollywoodLife.com that the show has given her all the skills she needs to become a huge star.
Alisan Porter, 34, has some pretty lofty goals once season 10 of The Voice wraps up, because even if she isn’t named the winner, she’s totally confident that she now has the goods to make it in the cut throat recording industry. Keep reading for how she tells HollywoodLife.com that the show has given her the “armor” to make it as a pop music sensation.
“It has been amazing! It has been life changing and nothing will ever be the same. I know that is cliché but I never believed in myself really to the point that you need to make it in the music business and now I do! I have been primed, cleaned and treated and polished and all that stuff because of the show!” Alisan tells HollywoodLife.com.
“We have gotten some of the most amazing care and we have been allowed to represent ourselves in such an authentic way, and listened to and cared for and it is really one of the most incredible experiences one could have as an artist!” the Team Christina Aguilera star continues. “And regardless of the outcome I think every single one of us is ready to walk into this industry with our armor on, we have our Voice armor on and I think season ten is going to be the season where people really make a difference in the record industry!” she adds.
We love her enthusiasm about life after the show, because The Voice doesn’t have a good track record of creating successful singers. The only person to somewhat make it was season three’s winner Cassadee Pope, 26 and she’s only a moderately known country singer.
Alisan has been getting nothing but love from the judges all season long, with all of them pegging her the one to go all the way from practically the beginning. Her incredible pipes caused all of them to turn their chairs for her and Adam Levine, 36, and Blake Shelton, 39, literally begged her to join their teams. But in the end she went with Christina and if Alisan wins, she’ll give a woman judge their very first victory on the show!
HollywoodLifers, do you think Alisan will go on to have wild success after The Voice?
