Now, Manchester United‘s coach Louis Van Gaal is really hanging on by a thread here and was lucky not be hurt when the United team coach was attacked last week at West Ham! But with rumors each week that his pal Jose Mourinho is set to take over his job in the summer when Louis will be shown the door, it can’t be easy prepping his team for this one. Will he be managing the Red Devils next season?
It’s hard to tell, but he’s only in the second year of his 3-year project, and with star players like Anthony Martial and Wayne Rooney on form, he will have plenty of firepower to go with if they are to get that elusive Champions League football for next season.
Bournemouth, on the other hand, has nothing left to play for this season. They go into their final game having achieved what they set out for at the start of the season and that was to stay in the Premier League and not get relegated. That’s the requirement for all teams promoted from the Championship, and Bournemouth should be commended because they did it on a shoe-string budget.
At Old Trafford, in front of their home fans, you have to fancy United to win this one at a canter. But Bournemouth will provide the threat on the counter attack.
HollywoodLifers, do you think Manchester United will win this? Can they pip their rivals Manchester City to a Champions League place for next season? Tell us what you think below!
