Meghan Trainor needs an icepack and a few days off after her terrifying fall on ‘The Tonight Show.’ Meghan admitted that even though she slayed the May 12 performance, her hurt body was ‘covered in bruises’ after that nasty tumble.
Ouch, Meghan Trainor. Are you okay? The answer may be “No.” The 22-year-old singer fell hard during her appearance on The Tonight Show, leaving everyone worried that she was badly injured! Though Meghan walked away in one piece, she’s still hurting!

“I’m feeling it today,” Meghan told Good Morning America’s Robin Roberts, 55, on May 13, according to Us Weekly, just hours after her terrifying tumble on The Tonight Show. “I’m feeling little bruises everywhere.” However, while Megan’s body was banged up, her pride wasn’t hurt. “[The performance] was great. I actually got up and was like, ‘Let me do it again,’ but I looked at it and that was the better performance, so I was like ‘Ah, just keep it!”
Meghan also kept her head held high about that unintentional death-drop. “Might have fell down,” she tweeted, “but I KILLED that sh*t hahahaha #keepinitreal thank you @fallontonight.” Be sure you’re also killing it by signing up for unlimited and ad-free streaming music here.
It’s no surprise that Meghan’s body is a bit black and blue after her fall. That fall at the end of her “Me Too” performance looked incredibly nasty. Thankfully, Jimmy Fallon, 41, came to her rescue, laying on the ground next to her as if this was just part of the dance routine. That’s so sweet of Jimmy!
Meghan’s body has been in the spotlight lately. When it’s not getting banged up on during late night performances, it’s getting photoshopped in music videos! Meghan yanked the official video for “Me Too” when she realized that the editors had been digitally altered to make her figure appear slimmer!
“I’m so sick of it and I’m over it,” Meghan said, explaining why she had the video removed. “I don’t know why they didn’t like my waist, but I didn’t approve that video and it went out for the world, so I’m embarrassed.” So while Meghan can live with a slightly humiliating public fall, she will not stand for any digital body shaming.
Are you glad that Meghan’s okay, HollywoodLifers? Were you frightened when you first saw her fall?
