TMZ revealed on May 10 that Michael has becoming the main focus of Prince’s death investigation. They said that the doctor has been interviewed about the tragedy, and that he admitted to treating Prince twice, including the day before he died. He had given him prescriptions to be filled at Walgreens – which he was spotted at 4 times in the days leading up to his death. He also admitted that he had run some tests on the musician and had stopped by Paisley Park on the day he died to drop off the results. On top of the interview, police have also filed warrants for Michael’s former workplace North Memorial Medical Center in Minnesota. The warrants will give police access to all medical records, documents, reports, charts, photos, prescriptions, doctor’s notes and medical notes for Prince Rogers Nelson. What’s odd is that he no longer works there, and left without a trace. It’s all very mysterious and super sketchy. If he was wrongly prescribing drugs to Prince, he could go to prison. Hopefully they will provide some insight into the tragic loss of one of music’s greatest legends. The whole situation is very reminiscent of the death of Michael Jackson. Following his death, it was revealed that he was being treated by doctor Conrad Murray, who prescribed him a sedative to help him relax, but too much caused an overdose leading to his death. So heartbreaking to lose another legend this way.
