“I have been sober for three and a quarter years,” Ozzy told E! News in an exclusive statement on Saturday, May 7. “I have not touched drugs or alcohol in that time. Any reports that I am not sober are completely inaccurate.”
This is the first time we’ve heard from Ozzy since news broke that he allegedly cheated on Sharon, which led to Ozzy leaving the home they’ve shared together. Unfortunately, Sharon has not spoken out and even took the “day off” from her daily talk show, The Talk, thanks to the speculation about her three-decade long marriage.
Ozzy, Sharon, and two of their three children, Jack and Kelly, have remained radio silent on all of their social media accounts. However, Jack did post a Happy Mother’s Day Instagram that seemed to throw a little bit of shade at his dad for allegedly cheating. Hmm.
Sadly, Ozzy has reportedly checked out of the hotel he was staying in after moving out of his house with Sharon. As HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY reported, Ozzy was planning on “fleeing” to Europe before he and his band, Black Sabbath, go on tour starting June 1.
