Celebrity chef, Marcus Samuelsson launched a ‘Wine & Dine’ package on eBay for charity and fans get a chance to bid for some awesome experiences in Harlem as part of the Harlem EatUp!, to benefit Citymeals on Wheels!
Marcus Samuelsson has just made all foodies’ dreams come true! Not only is Marcus auctioning off a private tour of his favorite Harlem hotspots but a private gospel performance and a private chef’s meal with wine pairings. HollywoodLife.com got a chance to catch up with Marcus who says he’s proud to be able to “spotlight” Harlem and the festival.
“Harlem is our home, and as such we celebrate this community and all of its treasures every day not only through our businesses but also the Harlem EatUp! Festival. I am happy to partner with eBay for Charity and offer my favorite Wine & Dine experiences,” Chef Samuelsson tells us. “To be able to spotlight Harlem and the Harlem EatUp! Festival which shines a light on the sights and tastes of Harlem. Please join me in Harlem with a private dinner at Red Rooster. The best part is all proceeds benefit Citymeals on Wheels, a charity beneficiary of the Harlem EatUp! Festival.”
Chef Richard Blais is also auctioning off a master class and a private dinner at his acclaimed San Diego restaurant, Juniper & Ivy with 100% of the proceeds going to Save the Children. And BottleRock Napa Valley – the famed three-day music, food, wine and brew festival – has teamed up with “Do It For The Love” foundation and ONEHOPE to auction off a variety of VIP festival packages. “I’m honored to be able to participate in eBay for Charity’s Wine & Dine campaign to help raise money for Save the Children,” Chef Blais tells us. “An organization that I will also be running the 2016 NYC Marathon with. I look forward to meeting the winning bidders so I can thank them personally for helping such a wonderful organization and maybe convince them to go on a run with me?!”
