Last year, BBW brought back six of their retro scents, re-releasing Cucumber Melon, Country Apple, Plumeria, Juniper Breeze, Pearberry and White Tea & Ginger. Getting a packaging update, each fragrance had a shower gel and body cream that took us all back to our childhood days spent browsing the Bath & Body Works aisles for yet another scent.
This year, BBW has announced they’ll bring back eight flashback scents, but they aren’t revealing all of the details until May 9.
With a ’90s resurgence taking place in both beauty and fashion, BBW’s relaunch couldn’t come at a better time. Every celebrity from Selena Gomez to Kim Kardashian has made ’90s choker necklaces part of their everyday look, and the brown lipstick shades we admired so much on supermodels Cindy Crawford and Kate Moss have become popular with new models like Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid.
The new scents won’t be released until May 27, but you can rest assured we’ll keep you updated on which scents they’re bringing back. And while you wait for the new round of throwbacks, you can shop their previously re-released scents on bathandbodyworks.com. Now we just need them to bring back the Art Stuff Roll-On Glitter so we can really channel our inner ’90s girl.
