OMG, we’re dead! Gwen Stefani helped James Corden get to work in a timely matter in the latest Carpool Karaoke and boy did she bring her A-game, as well as A-list passengers! Keep reading to see which of her many hits she sang along to.
Two things we absolutely love have come together – Gwen Stefani, 46, and Carpool Karaoke! The singer tagged along with The Late Late Show host James Corden, 37, and they blew things up some of the biggest hits of her two decade career. Not only that, she got a musical assist from special guests George Clooney, 54 and Julia Roberts, 48.
Gwen looked flawless as ever in a black turtleneck and jeans, with her signature red lip and her blonde hair back in a perfectly coiffed ponytail. The duo harkened back 21 years to No Doubt’s hit “Don’t Speak” as their opening song as Gwen and James were totally magic together. He told her that his wife wanted to know what her beauty regime is to maintain her youthful glow and she replied, “My life blew up, I kind of started falling in love and then I wrote a whole record about that so, that is what the face lift is,” she laughed, obviously referring to her sweetie Blake Shelton, 39.
James joked back “That’s what I’ll tell my wife. You meet a country singer who happens to be an absolute hunk you’ll go back in time,” as the two then jammed out to Gwen’s “Sweet Escape.” Stream Gwen’s music, completely unlimited and ad-free, RIGHT HERE.
James had her play a cute game of Emoji face and they burst into “Used To Love You” then straight into “Rich Girl,” but the ride took a sharp turn. James realized he needed four people in the car to use the carpool lane and picked up none other than gorgeous George and Julia as his other two occupants! The pair just so happen to be promoting their new movie Money Monster and are friends Gwen in real life too, so didn’t that work out nicely!
The four broke into “Hollaback Girl” and A-list stars actually knew the words and sang along! George and Julia then did some banter about their favorite movie lines which unfortunately totally took the attention away from Gwen. She deserved a Carpool Karaoke without their interruption! But it did make for the most A-list Carpool Karaoke ever so we’ve got to hand it to James for pulling that amazing ride off. The quartet ended their epic ride with a cover of Queen’s “We Are The Champions,” proudly showing off how they’re all at the top of their game.
HollywoodLifers, what did you think of Gwen’s Carpool Karaoke appearance? Did George and Julia steal away Gwen’s thunder?
