Emma Roberts, 25, may have worn a couture gown at the Met Ball on May 2, but she next day, she proved she is just like any other girl…rocking second day hair.
If we had an amazing hairstyle like Emma did at the Met Gala, we’d want to keep it as long as possible too! She flew out of NYC on May 3 rocking the same look, and was spotted in California on May 4 still rocking the look. Emma Roberts’ Braids — Met Gala Second Day Style
Dry shampoo. Of course, this is easier to pull off when hair is down, but it can work with updos too. If you have an updo, I think it’s easier to use a powder formula. I love the No Drought dry shampoo from Lush. Just make sure you really rub it in, especially if you have darker hair.
A silk pillowcase. Wrapping your hair in silk, or at the very lease sleeping on silk, will keep frizz at bay, and allow your style to last longer. I like the slip for beauty sleep ‘ Slipsilk’ Pure Silk Pillowcase, which also helps prevent wrinkles!
Of course, when you take our braids, you get a whole new, cool, wavy hairstyle — keep that fresh with a traditional spray dry shampoo like this one from Dove.
