May the Force be with you on May the 4th because it’s Star Wars day! Some major celebrity ‘Star Wars’ fans, from Ruby Rose to Kanye West, can’t wait to party like a Jedi! Click to see all the stars getting into the holiday spirit!
Grab your lightsaber and watch out for Kylo Ren, Darth Vader and Boba Fett — because it’s Star Wars day! Since May the 4th sounds close enough to “May the Force be with you,” fans have adopted the day as Stars Wars’ unofficial holiday! Even some big celebs, like Kim Kardashian, 35, and Lin-Manuel Miranda, 36, are getting in on the fun!
No one needs to travel to a galaxy far, far away to party. They can have a bash with C-3PO, Rey and the rest on Earth. Ruby Rose, 30, did her best Carrie Fisher, 59, impression by photoshopping her face onto Princess Leia’s head! Ruby can totally bring the hair-donuts back. If she doesn’t want to, Emma Stone, 27, could, as she rocked the Leia ‘do for charity!
Neil Patrick Harris, 42, and husband, David Burtka, 40, channeled the original trilogy with their own “expanded universe,” children Gideon Scott and Harper Grace, by dressing up as Han Solo, Luke and Leia. NPH was a stunning Obi Wan-Kenobi. It seems this family is pro-Rebel. If only they knew the power of the Dark Side. You can celebrate May the 4th too by shopping for all the right Star Wars gear here.
Long before John Boyega, 24, was blowing things up in TFA, Kanye West, 38, was posing as a Stormtrooper in 2008, per The Hollywood Reporter. Yeezy also had his princess with him, as Kim wore Leia’s big gold bikini!
Don’t expect Lin-Manuel Miranda to brandish a lightsaber when he takes the stage for his next performance of Hamilton, but the record-breaking, Pulitzer Prize winning playwright and actor still got his Star Wars celebration on. “Gmorning!” he tweeted with a picture of BB-8!

For some fans, every day is Star Wars Day. Joseph Gordon-Levitt, 35, famously dressed up as Yoda for the premiere of The Force Awakens. Sam Smith, 23, showed that his favorite movie was Return of The Jedi, buying (and then hugging) a life-sized Ewok. Cara Delevingne, 23, did her best to hide her supermodel good looks by dressing up as the most loathsome gangster on Tatooine — Jabba the Hutt!
Kaley Cuoco, 30, of The Big Bang Theory was tired of playing princess Leia, so she traded in a blaster for Luke’s lightsaber. Talk about a nerd-love overload! Speaking of which, Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, 31, couldn’t wait to introduce his son, Max Zuckerberg, to the movies, as he dressed his newborn up as a tiny Jedi knight!
