Making a bold statement, Zendaya hit the Met Gala with a sleek new wig and a full smokey eye makeup look. The singer is always changing up her style, so it’s no surprise she went all out for the Met. Let us know what you think, ahead!
Zendaya, 19, loves experimenting with her beauty looks, so the May 2 Met Gala in NYC was the perfect event for her. Wearing an embellished dress by Michael Kors, Zendaya matched her makeup to the bronzey-gold shade with a smokey eye, shimmering lip and perfect highlight.

Zendaya really embraced the Manus x Machina: Fashion In An Age Of Technology theme for this year’s Met Ball. Her one shoulder dress had a more futuristic vibe thanks to its collared neck and head-to-toe embellishment, and she went for a more done up makeup look, too.
For her makeup, the CoverGirl spokesmodel, who frequently does her own face for red carpet events kept her brows bold and her smokey eye even bolder. Concentrating more neutral shimmering shades like the ones from CoverGirl’s Eyeshadow Quad in Notice Me Nudes at the outer corners of her eyes, Zendaya added a pop of gold metallic like the CoverGirl Bombshell Shine Shadow in Gold Goddess from the inner corners of her eyes to the center of her lids.
Zendaya’s hair was the statement of her beauty look, and was most definitely a wig. Wearing a bowl cut hairstyle, Zendaya’s Met Ball look included lots of shine.
We’re used to seeing Zendaya play around with different hair looks — in fact, recently, she’s sported more switch-ups than Kylie Jenner. Whether she’s playing up a theme like she did at this year’s Met (and her David Bowie-style hair at the Grammy’s) or simply trying out a new look like her long blonde hair and bangs combo on the May cover of Marie Claire, Zendaya always has fun with her hair.
