Woops! It looks like Kevin Hart’s tour went out with a bang — literally! Kevin took a nasty fall after finishing his ‘What Now? Tour.’ Talk about a strong finish!
Kevin Hart, 36, took a serious fall at his last “What Now?” world tour show in Honolulu on April 30. The star was leaving the stage when he fell straight to the ground in front of the whole crowd. He recovered gracefully, but not before being egged on by his fans! Keep reading to see the video!
The star was making his final exit when he seemed to trip over a panel on the stage and landed flat on his back. Ouch! We’re talking a major fall, like he was on the ground for a good couple of moments before being able to regain his composure and get up. Although he was able to laugh it off with a strong victory pose and a few jokes, for a minute there, it looked like he might be in some serious pain.
Of course his entourage was there as a much needed distraction and put the audience at ease about Kevin’s condition, but there was no doubt that the star definitely did not plan for that. “I’m not talking about a little cute fall. I’m talking about a full fledged f–ked up fall. I don’t know how, but somehow I ended up underneath the stage with my hands in the air,” he said later on a video posted on social media. Kevin has never been one to take himself too seriously, so it’s likely that even if he wasn’t alright he probably would have found a way to keep fans entertained through his pain. That is the mark of a true performer.
Along with his earlier video, Kevin later thanked fans via Instagram for their support during the show and promised that the movie would be even better. “We appreciate the love… This tour was unbelievable!!!! We made the WORLD laugh with this tour…. trust me when I tell you that the movie will be even better than the tour, brace yourself world….”What Now” hitting theaters Oct. 2016.” Hopefully footage of his fall will make the movie, because that would be a film worth watching!
