All eyes were on First Lady, Michelle Obama, as she attended the 2016 White House Correspondents’ Dinner with a shimmering look from head-to-toe. Wearing a crystal-embellished dress, Michelle completed the look with a shiny blowout and shimmering eyeshadow and lip gloss. What do you think of her latest look?
Michelle Obama, 52, is saving her best style and beauty moments for last. Attending her final White House Correspondents’ Dinner as FLOTUS on April 30, Michelle opted for a figure-fitting Givenchy Couture gown, which was a soft champagne shade and included a crystal-embellished sheath over the dress. For her makeup, Michelle kept it more understated with subtle pops of shimmer.

As one of the most stylish first ladies to date, Michelle is known for her ability to perfectly mix sophistication with high fashion — plus, she’s never boring in the beauty department. For the annual White House Correspondents’ dinner, she proved her versatility once again, styling her shoulder-length hair in a sleek, straight look.
A completely different look from what we’ve seen from her lately, at last year’s WHCD, Michelle wore her hair in natural curls with a bold berry lip. And, most recently, while in London celebrating Queen Elizabeth‘s 90th birthday, Michelle wore her hair in volumized curls.
For her last WHCD, Michelle’s glam squad turned it up a notch, with makeup artist Carl Ray giving her a neutral smokey eye with a soft, sparkly champagne shadow concentrated at the inner corner of her eyes to match her dress and really make her eyes pop. Defined brows, thin lines of black eyeliner and a pale pink pearlescent lip gloss rounded out Michelle’s makeup look. Hairstylist Johnny Wright was behind her perfectly smooth blowout, which looked incredibly shiny, no doubt thanks to a hair serum and shine spray combo.
Earlier in the week, it was Michelle’s comedy skills that had everyone talking, as she and the President jokingly faced off against England’s royal family. Shortly after the Obamas traveled to Kensington Palace, where they adorably met with Prince George, 2, they dropped the nice act in back-and-forth video clips with the Queen and Prince Harry ahead of the Invictus Games. Started by Prince Harry in 2014, the international sporting event serves to honor and raise awareness for wounded, injured and sick servicemen and women, and is set to take place in the US in Orlando starting May 8.
