Bring. It. On. These ‘royal’ families are ready to rumble at the Invictus Games in Orlando! Just ahead of the upcoming event, President Obama, the First Lady, the Queen, and Prince Harry went head to head trashing talking each other! Wait until you see the epic comebacks!
Who knew royals could get down like this! Only one week after the First Family visited the royal family at Kensington Palace, the two parties have now dropped the nice act and prepared for battle in the Invictus Games. The Royal Family and the The Obamas engaged in a pretty hilariously trash talking sesh on April 29 and now it has us thinking — are you team Harry or team Obama?
“Hey, Prince Harry, 31. Remember when you told us to bring it at the Invictus Games?” First Lady Michelle Obama, 52, tauntingly asked. “Careful what you wish for!” President Obama, 54, chimed in. The two were backed by a row of serviceman – one of whom said “Boom!” throwing out his hand in effect.
Uh-oh! By the look of their crossed arms and blank stares, they definitely mean business. But if you think a little scare tactic like that was going to make Great Britain’s finest back down, think again!
To prove just how unbothered they were, the Queen, 90, and Prince countered with a special message on the official Kensington Palace Twitter page. While the pair were casually sitting down flipping through a book, Prince Harry got a call from F.L.O.T.U.S. The two are seen watching the message from the Obamas, before the Queen says, “Boom, really? Please.” The Queen is of course too much of a lady to put her hand in the hair, but we could totally feel a “talk to the hand” moment coming on. Prince Harry then hilariously made his own “Boom” and hand motion.

They might be trash-talking ahead of the games’ start on May 8, but it’s really all in good fun. Earlier, in March 2016, The First Lady expressed her excitement for all teams competing and support of Prince Harry’s leadership, according to PEOPLE. “With Prince Harry’s leadership, I hope that the world will join us in celebrating these incredible athletes and supporting all our service members, veterans, and their families,” she said.
Harry first launched the Paralympic-style games in London in 2014, inviting international teams to compete in games like wheelchair basketball and sitting volleyball. This year’s games have registered 500 competitors from 15 nations to compete at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World. Incredible!
So we’re guessing that this trash talk between the two ‘royal’ families will die down come time for the games. And probably the only thing they’ll be bringing is their biggest cheers as they cheer on Team USA and Team U.K..
Hollywoodlifers, which team will you be cheering on?
