So sweet! Drake revealed in a new interview that his work relationship with Rihanna is full of crazy chemistry. See exactly what he said right here!
Drake, 29, and Rihanna, 28, have been friends, enemies and boyfriend and girlfriend — and most recently, collaborators! Drake didn’t hold back in an interview with Zane Lowe on OVO Sound Radio on April 28 when it came to talking about Rihanna, and the shipper in us all is overjoyed. LISTEN here!
When asked about working with Rihanna on his new album Views, Drake had nothing but good things to say about RiRi. “We do well together as a team…I think we do great music together. It’s tough to do guy-girl collabs…I think [the chemistry] is what makes the records better, though,” Drake admitted. “It’s something genuine there. We’re not forcing some story on people. A lot of the music that we make and the energy that we bring is genuine. We have a lot of genuine energy between us.” Yeah, you do!

If you haven’t checked out Drake’s record yet, it’s a must-listen. Bad Girl RiRi sings on the track “Too Good”, and she co-wrote the infectious, upbeat song with Drizzy. In the song, the pair laments about how they are “too good” to one another (is there such a thing?), but have no idea how to talk to each other: “You take my love for granted, I just don’t understand it,” they sing. Drake also name-drops her on “Hype”: “They want to be on TV right next to me/You cannot be right next to me, don’t you see RiRi next to me?” Fingers crossed for one or two sexy videos!
HollywoodLifers, what do you think about Drake complimenting Rihanna like that?
