The feud between Drake and Meek Mill had just been reignited! Drizzy released his new album, ‘Views,’ on April 28, and we couldn’t help but notice the shade thrown at his nemesis on the song ‘Hype.’ See the lyrics here!
Drake, 29, apparently still isn’t over Meek Mill, 28, saying he uses a ghostwriter! Months after Meek slammed the rapper for not writing his own lyrics, Drake is firing back again on his new album Views, and he might just be getting the last word with this one.
Now that Drake dropped his new album, you can LISTEN to it HERE on iTunes.
“I don’t run out of material/You shouldn’t speak on me period/You try to give your side of the story/They heard it/But they weren’t hearing it,” the 29-year-old raps on the track “Hype.” Soooo, basically he’s saying that Meek may have talked a LOT of smack, but nobody really took him seriously. LOL!
This back and forth has been going on between Drake and Meek for months. It started when Meek slammed Drake for using a ghostwriter, which Drizzy is still clearly denying, and every time we think it might be over, one of the guys comes back with a new rhyme getting things going again. Meanwhile, Nicki Minaj has found herself caught in the middle of all this. While she’s in a serious relationship with Meek — they’re not engaged yet, even though she’s been flashing a huge diamond ring — she’s also been close with Drake for years. Still, somehow, these two just can’t find a way to put their differences behind them.
Drake finally dropped his highly-anticipated album, Views, on April 28, and we’re already SO obsessed with it. With songs featuring Rihanna, 28, Future, 32, and more, there’s not one bad selection on the whole record!
