So sad! Prince was so out of it following his alleged percocet overdose that he needed his bodyguard to carry his unconscious body off his private plane! Keep reading for more on the shocking new details.
This is just heartbreaking. Prince‘s condition upon arriving at the Moline, IL airport following his plane’s emergency landing was far worse than we thought. The 57-year-old’s nearly lifeless body needed to be carried off his jet to an awaiting ambulance where he received a “save shot” to keep him from dying!
Oh man, the news just keeps getting more tragic when it comes to Prince’s final days. TMZ is reporting that when the musician’s plane made an emergency landing in Moline, IL six days before he died, he required a bodyguard to carry him to an awaiting ambulance. The unconscious singer was then administered a “save shot” on the spot by awaiting paramedics that helped counteract the effects of his alleged percocet overdose.
At that point he was rushed to the hospital, but as we came to find out later, once he regained consciousness he ignored doctor’s pleas to stay at least 24 hours in the hospital so they could monitor his condition. Prince left the hospital just three hours after he was admitted after there were reportedly no private rooms available for him to recover in. Sadly, just six days later the singer would be found dead inside the elevator of his suburban Minneapolis home on Apr. 21.
In the days since the icon’s passing, there have been numerous reports that the singer had been abusing the painkiller percocet to deal with an ongoing hip condition. While the toxicology tests as to what caused the singer’s untimely death won’t be back for weeks, Prince’s own attorney shot down drug use allegations on Apr. 26, telling the Associated Press that “Everybody who knows Prince knows he wasn’t walking around drugged up. That’s foolish. No one ever saw Prince and said, ‘He looks high.’ It wasn’t what he was about,” L. Londell McMillan said, adding that the superstar lived a “clean and healthy lifestyle.”
