Tragedy has struck Apple headquarters, as a dead body was discovered on the company’s campus in Cupertino, California April 27. The body was found early in the morning, and eventually identified as a hispanic, male employee at the tech company.
An employee was found dead at Apple headquarters in Cupertino, California on April 27. Cops responded to a 911 call of a possible suicide, and confirmed that one person, an employee, has been pronounced dead.
The employee is a hispanic male, and no one else was involved in the tragedy, a Sheriff’s spokesperson tells TMZ. However, after hearing the frantic 911 call, the details surrounding the death are a bit shady.
The caller, who phoned in around 8:40 in the morning, said the situation was a “possible suicide,” and explained that a female employee, who had sustained a head wound, was escorted out of a campus building after she was involved in an argument. There was also discussion of a body being found in a conference room, with the victim holding a gun.
The official statement from the Sheriff mentions nothing about the mysterious female with the head wound, so it’s unclear how she was involved in this incident, if at all.
“Through further investigation, they determined there was no other individuals involved and they believe it was an isolated incident,” Sgt. Andrea of the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Department said. “There was no one else on campus or in the public at risk.”
Police are continuing to investigate this case, but as of now, these are the only details available.
