Well, that didn’t take long. Just one day after we suspected Zac Efron and Sami Miro had split due to the fact that he deleted all traces of her from his social media accounts, a new report claims they have, indeed, broken up. Get all the details here.
It’s official — Zac Efron is back on the market! The 28-year-old actor first alarmed fans of the couple, when he deleted all traces of Sami Miro, 28, from his social media accounts, and now it has been confirmed — Zac and Sami are no more. They recently broke up after nearly two years of dating.
Zac and Sami have, indeed, broken up, E! News reports. The split was confirmed by a source one day after we reported Zac deleted every photo of Sami from his Instagram account. He also stopped following her on both Twitter and Instagram.
Zac and Sami celebrated their 1-year anniversary in September, and in general, they kept their relationship pretty private. But they often showed off some sweet PDA on Instagram. That is, before Zac deleted all the pictures from his feed. Sami, however, still has pictures of Zac on her page.

In an interview with Elle last year, Sami said it was “definitely different” dating Zac. “I think that you have to take that [kind of attention] with a grain of salt, and put yourself in other people’s positions. I think that’s actually a really big part of it, putting yourself in their shoes, and trying to understand where they’re coming from, and then it kinds of makes sense. It kind of just comes with the territory, and I know there’s no really changing that, so you have to just embrace it…,” she said.
“I’m not trying to hide anything in my life,” she added. “If I was dating someone who wasn’t in the limelight, I might have more photos on [Instagram] of our relationship, but I do think it’s important. I mean, it’s what is going on in my life, and I think that my social media can still represent that.”
