Kim Kardashian, 35, has been rocking the updos lately. Whether going super styled and sleek like she did while vacationing in Iceland or more undone like her most recent look in Miami, Kim’s given her updos a full-on glam effect thanks to her designer outfits and gorgeous makeup.

We’re always in favor of a beauty look that doesn’t take hours to perfect, especially as the weather warms up more, making the thought of using our flat irons and curling wands unbearable. Since Kim spent the weekend in the Miami heat, the reality TV star broke out the messy bun hairstyle a bit early and completely perfected our go-to summer look thanks to her styling team.
Cesar Ramirez was behind Kim’s undone knot, parting her hair down the middle and loosely pulling her hair back into a messy bun at the nape of her neck. Leaving face-framing pieces out along the side, Cesar made sure Kim’s look had a high-shine finish to make the messy style more glam.
To copy her look, brush your hair out smooth and part it at the center, giving it a spritz with a flexible spray that adds shine, like Mizani In-Control Workable Holding Spritz. Using your fingers to pull your hair back loosely, twist your hair into a knot before securing with an elastic and anchor any sections that look out of place with bobby pins.
To amp up the glamour, Kim’s makeup artist, Mario Dedivanovic, gave her a bronzed glow that was further enhanced with contouring and highlighting. He then completed her look with a soft smokey eye, false lashes and a soft pink-nude lip.
Mario even Snapchatted her look the next morning, which looked completely untouched despite it being 14-hours after her glam sesh, according to Mario. We can totally get behind the second-day hair, but we’re kind of shocked that Kim would break a cardinal beauty rule and sleep in her makeup! We get wanting to keep Mario’s flawless makeup look as long as possible, but sleeping with your makeup on can cause breakouts and enlarged pores as well as premature aging — so make sure you don’t copy that part of Kim’s beauty look.
What do you think of Kim’s undone hair look? Will you be rocking a similar style this summer, HollywoodLifers?
