Drake’s ‘Views From The 6’ release date is just around the corner! To get fans even more excited for the new album, Drizzy revealed the cover art on April 24. Check out Drake’s epic album cover right here!
With only five days to go until Drake drops his fourth studio album, Views From the 6, on April 29, the 29-year-old rapper took to Twitter to unveil the cover art. We knew he had mad love for his hometown of Toronto, Canada, but he paid tribute to his birthplace in a pretty awesome way with his album cover!
While the cover may just appear to be a close up shot of Toronto’s CN Tower, if you look closely you’ll see that the Views From the 6 cover is so much cooler than that. Why? Because Drake himself is perched atop the massive structure! Talk about getting some amazing Views, huh?
As if the picture isn’t incredible enough, Drake added some sentimental value to the shot with an ode to his hometown. “To the city I love and the people in it,” Drake tweeted along with the pic. “Thank you for everything.”
Aww! When Drake announced the album’s release date, the rapper also revealed that this album has been heavily influenced by his Canadian roots. “Trying to craft a lifestyle track, a sound for our city,” he said. His album artwork certainly follows suit!
Drake hasn’t revealed a track list for Views just yet, but he has dropped two new tracks from the album, and man are they fire! Between his epic collab with Kanye West and Jay Z on “Pop Style” and the undeniably groove-worthy “One Dance,” Drake has proved that he has one fantastic record on the way. And with an awesome album cover to boot, Drake definitely has us amped for April 29!
