Rachel Roy is getting slammed on social media, following the release of Beyonce’s new visual album, ‘Lemonade.’ The Beyhive — Beyonce’s legion of fans — believes Rachel is the person Jay Z allegedly cheated on Beyonce with, and they’re mad as hell. Especially because she taunted Beyonce on Instagram.
In her new visual album, Lemonade, Beyonce references a woman Jay Z allegedly cheated on her with as “Becky with the good hair.” Fans immediately pegged Rachel Roy as “Becky” because her “close friendship” with the rapper was rumored to be the reason why Beyonce’s sister, Solange, attacked him in an elevator at a Met Gala after-party on May 5, 2014. And when Rachel taunted Beyonce on Instagram, following the release of Lemonade, the singer’s fans went HAM on her.
After Beyonce said her cheating man “better call Becky with the good hair,” Rachel posted a cryptic Instagram pic with the following caption on April 23: “Good hair don’t care, but we will take good lighting, for selfies, or self truths, always. ✨🙌🏽 live in the light #nodramaqueens 🙄🔱🚯.”
Oh boy. And that’s when Beyonce fans started lashing out at her for taunting Beyonce. Comments got so heated that Rachel actually deleted the post on April 24. But that didn’t stop The Beyhive from dragging her through the mud on all social media platforms. See some of their messages below:
And that’s not all. Rachel’s Wikipedia page was also hacked with fans calling her a “dusty side hoe” and saying she “died under a lemonade stand.” Beyonce’s fans are extremely upset, and we don’t see them stopping this behavior anytime soon. Perhaps Rachel should take a break from all social media platforms.
What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers? Does Rachel Roy deserve all this hate? Or are fans going after the wrong person?
