It’s time to put an end to the rumors! At least, that’s what Ryan Gosling is trying to do in his hilarious new sketch with ‘The Nice Guys’ co-star Russell Crowe. The two sit down to couples therapy so Russ can confront him about all of the ‘hey girl’ stuff – which Ryan says he never even said!
Public Service Announcement: Ryan Gosling, 35, has never and will never say “hey girl”! He and Russell Crowe, 52, sat down to couples therapy in their hilarious new sketch to put an end to all of the “hey girl” madness. See the hysterical video, right here.
We live for Ryan Gosling memes. From gems like “hey girl, feel my sweater, it’s made of boyfriend material” to “hey girl, is your name Google, because you’ve got everything I’m searching for” the handsome nice guy actor embodies everything we want in a partner. The only problem? It’s all a lie!
Ryan and his The Nice Guys co-star Russell sat down for some couples therapy, where Russ confronted Ryan on all of the “nice guy Ryan” merchandise that exists. He says that Ryan’s “life choices” lead to the slew of notebooks, sweaters, and, um, chairs that girls swoon over. However, Ryan insists that he doesn’t deserve the attribution.
“I never said it,” he explains with exasperation. “Now, I understand if you’re in a movie and you say ‘you complete me’ or ‘I’m just a girl standing in front of a guy’ and that follows you around, then you gotta own that. But I never said it!” He also goes in on the “Feminist Ryan” stuff. “Feminist? That’s a title you gotta earn! I never burned a bra. I’m not even a good person. I don’t even compost, man!” We practically died when his voice cracked during a high-pitched scream. You’ve gotta watch for yourself.
