Let’s start with Kim, because she is the queen of the nude head-to-toe tonal trend. Pretty much all of her outfits are composed of different nude pieces, so it was hard for us to choose one to compare to Michelle’s. The closest one, though, was definitely Kim’s skintight cashmere mini dress. On top of the dress, she donned a long sweater-coat in the same exact color. She topped off the look with fishnet stockings, which we would never expect Michelle to wear, and a pair of nude ankle-strap sandals.
When we saw Michelle at the Kensington Palace dinner on April 22, we couldn’t help but think of Kim. The outfit is so similar to something she would wear. FLOTUS rocked a 3/4 sleeve cashmere sweater tucked into a matching high-waisted lace midi skirt. On top of this entire look, she threw on a camel trench coat, and tied it all together with a matching pair of suede strappy heels.
We would never expect to see these two ladies in a style showdown, but it happened and we don’t know how we feel about it!
