This is Justin-ception! Bieber covered the Timberlake classic, ‘Cry Me A River,’ during a recent live performance and it was pretty amazing. Click inside to WATCH!
Justin Bieber, 22, just blew his fans away with an acoustic version of Justin Timberlake‘s first solo single, “Cry Me A River.” From one Justin to another, this timeless classic still sounds just as good 14 years after it was originally released in 2002!
Wow. Justin Bieber has always been really good at covering the hits, but his take on Justin Timberlake’s “Cry Me A River” might be his best yet. Sitting on a couch at the front of his Purpose Tour stage on April 20, Justin strummed at his acoustic guitar while serenading his fans with a slowed down version of the hit song, and needless to say they loved every second of it.
Although Justin kept the cover short for the Louisville, Kentucky crowd, he sang through the first verse and chorus, his voice going just as high as Timberlake’s in the original. He repeated the chorus again once more, then belted out one final high note as his fans totally lost it in the sold out arena. The screams are endless!
Timberlake may be the original Justin, but Bieber’s version is pretty good. So, what are the odds of getting these two on a stage together? That would be insane!
Next up for Justin is a surprise appearance at the 2016 Radio Disney Music Awards on Sunday, May 1. The awards are taping on April 30, so it will be interesting to see what Justin has up his sleeves for the big show. Maybe another awesome cover? Fingers crossed!
