Little is known about the cause of Prince’s death at this point, but his body was discovered inside his Minnesota home, his publicist confirms. The singer was battling illness for weeks before this tragic fate, and on April 15, he was flying home from a concert in Atlanta, Georgia when his plane made an emergency landing in Illinois because he was feeling so poorly.
At that time, Prince was rushed to the hospital, and it was confirmed that he was battling a severe case of the flu, but he gave a concert over the weekend to prove that he was doing okay. Things clearly took an awful turn, though, as less than a week later, we have lost the “Purple Rain” singer. Remember Prince by streaming his music completely unlimited and ad-free HERE.
