Finally, we know when to expect some answers about Prince’s mysterious death. The coroner’s office told HollywoodLife.com “The body of Prince Rogers Nelson has been received by Midwest Medical Examiners Office in Ramsey, MN, on behalf of the Carver County Sheriff’s Office. An autopsy will be performed Friday, April 22, 2016. We have no further information at this time.”
Very little is currently known about Prince’s death. He was found in the elevator of his Minnesota Estate by police on April 21, after allegedly battling the flu for over a week. On April 15 he was returning from a concert when his plane had to make an emergency landing to go to the hospital. His rep claimed it was the flu.
However, it seemed less and less likely as more info emerged that it could be something as simple as the flu ailing Prince. He was also seen in his local pharmacy four times in the few days before his death, clearly trying to deal with some sickness on his own. We hope that we find out the cause on Friday to put his family’s minds to rest.
