NBA Finals Dark horse Oklahoma City Thunder travels to the Dallas Mavericks in game 3 of the NBA playoffs first round with the series delicately poised at 1-1. Can they get a win on the road at the American Airlines Center, or will they drop their second game on the spin to the Mavericks? Click down to watch the live stream below!
Oklahoma City Thunder’s big-hitters Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook will have to be on top of their game in this one if they want to get the better of the Mavericks, who boast veteran Dirk Nowitzki in their roster. Does he have enough in the tank to go toe-to-toe with Thunder’s dynamic duo, or will his knees give in on him.
He is carrying a slight knee injury actually since the last game on Apr. 18, but still managed to score 17 points and 4 rebounds while on the court for 38 minutes. He’s tough as nails, and won’t let the slightest little knock stop him from bringing his A game for game 3.
In game 2, the Mavericks squared the series 1-1 by edging out the Thunder 85-84 in a game that went down right to the wire and was tense for fans of both NBA giants.
It’s going to be a super tight game once more, and with that win in game 2 the Mavericks will be full of confidence for this one. They may just sneak a win again!
HollywoodLifers, who do you think will have their noses out in front come game 4? Will it be the Mavericks? Or will the Thunder steal Dallas’s… ahem… thunder! Tell us your predictions below!
